Each spring, the theme of the exhibition changes and artists are invite to produce new works of art. The exhibition “Circles on the Water” is very symbolic and has a deep philosophical meaning. Painters and graphic artists, who will be presenting approximately 100 of their creative works, are attending this exhibition. These works will reflect life in the universe in the form of an infinite circle.
The circle symbolizes the balance that is fundamental to life. A series of events or phenomena occurring in nature, including objects that appear suddenly and then disappear, or go into oblivion in the natural environment, particularly in water.
The symbol of a circle on water is associated with the concept of life on Earth, and the circle in nature connects to the idea of “biocentrism”.
Each artist’s perception is different. The artists explored the theme “Circles on the Water”, offering reflections on philosophical, realistic and ecological perspectives. This is also true of the question of how circles diverge in space, water, and give different associations and memories.
These are the waves of events from people’s lives that become consigned to oblivion, the past. This could be interpreted as the spreading out of raindrops in circular patterns, or the rippling of sunlight on water. It is a theme that revolves around a thoughtful approach to environmental issues.
