23 April 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a grand opening of the exhibition “Kásiptiń kúshi – halyqtyń ıgiligi”, timed to the announcement by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev 2025 “The year of working professions”.
The aim of the exhibition was to show the importance of the working professions in the development of the country through real stories of working people, to preserve the memory of the labor achievements of the past and to highlight the relevance of the working professions.
The exhibition presents unique photo-documentary materials that tell about the labor heroics of the production leaders and heroes of socialist labor of Saken Shomanov, foreman of the bulk miners of the mine No.3 in Karaganda; Tuitebek Bayskakov, labour veteran of the Semipalatinsk meat-packing plant named after M. Kalinin;
Kydyr Abdrasulov, supervisor of the integrated mining brigade of the Kirovskaya mine, and other outstanding representatives of the working class who made a significant contribution to the development of industry and the people. The event attended by students from leading higher education institutions of Almaty: Almaty State Electromechanical College, Almaty Automechanical College, College of Architecture, Design and Engineering, Polytechnic College, as well as employees of «AHMBP» JSC (Joint-Stock Company) Almaty Heavy Machine Building Plant.

The exhibition “Kásiptiń kúshi – halyqtyń ıgiligi” will become an important platform for popularization of working professions and will inspire the young generation to choose the path of creative work.
