On February 28, 2025, at 3 p.m., the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a cultural and educational event “Er Turaly Zhyr”, dedicated to the 165th anniversary of the birth of the national poet, zhyrau, Honored Artist of Kazakhstan, Nurpeis Baiganin.
The audience will be presented with the photographic documents of Nurpeis Baiganin, stored in the museum’s collections. Speakers of the event will be Nurpeis Baiganin’s great-grandson Yerbolat Momynovich, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, Professor Serikkazy Sybanbaevich, Director of the Center for Manuscript and Textology at the M.O.Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Ph.D. Zhumashai Sailauovna, publicist, screenwriter Kaldygul Akimzhanovna and others.
The event will be attended by students of the Faculty of Journalism, Philology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Kazakh National Conservatory.Kurmangazy, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.
