18.03.2026 The exhibition «Nauryz. Generations dialogue»

On 18 March 2026, at 4 p.m., the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will open an art exhibition entitled «Nauryz. Generations dialogue» dedicated to one of the brightest and most significant holidays in Kazakh culture – Nauryz, a symbol of spring renewal, peace, and the continuity of traditions.

The exhibition brings together the works of teachers and their students, creating a lively artistic dialogue between generations, in which the experience and wisdom of mentors are combined with the sincere, emotional, and vivid vision of young authors.

Through drawings and paintings, the children reveal their understanding of Nauryz as a celebration of family, friendship, good traditions, and the awakening of nature. The works reflect images and scenes from their homes, childhood, national rituals, spring, games, and the joy of celebrating together. Children’s art fills the exhibition with a special warmth, spontaneity, and light.

This exhibition highlights the important role of art education in preserving cultural heritage, fostering respect for national values, and passing on spiritual traditions from older to younger generations. Here, the teacher acts as a mentor and guide, while the child becomes the bearer of cultural memory and the creator of the future.

The exhibition «Nauryz. Generations dialogue» features more than 40 artworks that allow visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the spring holiday, see the world through the eyes of children, and feel how art unites generations – past, present, and future.

Exhibition dates: March 18 – April 1, 2026

Address: Samal-1/44, Almaty, The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan
