20.03.2026 The exhibition “Mom in My Colours”

On March 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM, the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will open the children’s art exhibition “Mom in My Colours”, organised by the “Genius” Development Centre. The exhibition honours mothers as the most important figures in every child’s life.

Dedicated to the spring holiday, the exhibition showcases children’s sincere love, gratitude, and admiration for their mothers. These heartfelt artworks capture the spirit of the celebration.

Bringing together artworks by young authors, the exhibition features drawings and paintings that reveal each child’s personal perception of maternal care, warmth, and tenderness. In their works, children portray their mothers in various roles: as guardians of home comfort, wise mentors, loyal friends, and sources of endless love.

A special value of the exhibition lies in the fact that the children’s works reflect the inner world of each child – their gratitude, admiration, and deep connection with the person who is most precious to them. Art becomes a means of expressing love and respect for a loved one, as well as a way to promote family traditions and values.

The exhibition “Mom in My Colours” demonstrates the important role of art education in a child’s development, in fostering respect for family, and in strengthening spiritual and family values. Teachers of the “Genius” Development Centre act as mentors, helping young artists express their feelings through creativity and see beauty in the simplest things.

The exhibition “Mom in My Colours” brings together 50 artworks, each of which is unique and touching in its own way. The exhibition invites visitors to view the world through the eyes of children and to experience the sincere and boundless love that a child expresses for their mother through the medium of art.

The exhibition will run until April 3, 2026.

Address: Samal-1, 44 (The National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty)
