On June 17, 2026, at 3 p.m., the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a memorial evening dedicated to the life and professional legacy of Yermek Sansyzbaevich Abdramanov, an outstanding figure in civil aviation in Kazakhstan. The event was organized with the aim of preserving the historical memory of a man who made a significant contribution to the development of civil aviation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the training of national aviation personnel and the formation of the domestic aviation industry.
Ermek Sansyzbaevich Abdramanov is a first class pilot, an academician of the Academy of International Transport, a professor at the Academy of Civil Aviation, and one of the most respected representatives of Russian civil aviation. For more than 36 years of professional activity, he worked his way up from the co-pilot of the An-2 aircraft to the head of the country's major aviation structures, becoming the first Kazakh pilot to master the control of the Il-86 wide-body aircraft. His total flight time was over 20 thousand hours.
As part of the memorial evening, a solemn ceremony will be held to donate the personal memorial complex of Ermek Sansyzbaevich Abdramanov to the museum. The donor will be his wife, who will transfer items related to the aviator's professional and social activities for permanent storage. The memorial complex will include personal documents, photographs, awards, uniforms and other materials reflecting the life and many years of activity of Ermek Sansyzbaevich. The transferred items will replenish museum funds and become a valuable source for studying the history of civil aviation in Kazakhstan.
The event will be attended by representatives of the aviation industry, veterans of civil aviation, colleagues and relatives of Ermek Abdramanov, public figures, museum specialists, as well as representatives of the media.
Holding a memorial evening and transferring the memorial complex to the museum collection will be a significant event in preserving the historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan and perpetuating the memory of the outstanding aviator who devoted his life to the development of domestic aviation.
