Visiting the CSM RK isnecessary components of the acquaintance programof official delegation not only Almaty, but also with our country. The CSM RK annually visited by hundreds of official delegations from countries of far and near abroad. The rich and unique exhibition, exhibitions and events of the CSM RK attracts many foreign visitors, for whom the museum specialists develop and carry out reviews and subject tours that introduce the ancient rich and unique history and culture of the people of Kazakhstan.
Category of foreign visitors can be divided into the following groups:
- Official delegations;
- Participants of international cultural, economic, sport and forums;
- Groups organized by tour companies especially in the spring and summer (today Museum collaborates with "Mars Tour", "Tour Asia", as well as travel agencies from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan);
- Our compatriots living outside of Kazakhstan
For foreign guests the II exposition hall "Historical ethnography", where visitors get acquainted with the history of the Kazakh Khanate, the traditional culture of the Kazakh people - housing, household items, decorative and applied arts, economic instruments and jewelry collections are of special interest. The "Public Fund", forth hall "Modern Kazakhstan" and "Museum of Anthropology are also of special attention.
For tourists there are gift shops, snack bar. There are museum guides and booklets on all exposition halls of the museum for foreign visitors are available.
