On 16 April 2025 at 4 p.m. in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held the opening of the traditional exhibition “Watercolour Fresh-III”. The exhibition is the third national art exhibition co-organized by the Watercolour Fresh Club in cooperation with the Museum, and is attended by famous watercolour artists from all over Kazakhstan (Aktobe, Kokshetau, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Astana, Taraz, Shymkent, etc.).
Watercolour painting is one of the most difficult techniques in painting. There are many ways to convey the world around on paper. Watercolour can accurately show the world in all its colours, using a minimum of means and a maximum of expressiveness. It is light, airy, lively, moving painting, which requires special skill and patience.
Not often such watercolour exhibitions are held in Kazakhstan. This exhibition is an extended one, and recently one can observe a keen interest in watercolour art not only among artists, but also among visitors.
In the exhibition 55 watercolour artists took part, among them both young, beginners and established professional artists.
