On 9th October, 2016 at 17.00 in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the World Day of Hospice and Palliative Care the 4th annual charity auction, "I want to live!" fund-raising to support children with cancer will be held.

Since 2003 the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan is one of the largest and leading museums of Kazakhstan charitable activities to support orphans, disabled children, children with cancer in cooperation with the charity fund maternal health, guardianship and childhood "Altyn-Kol" and Public fund to support patients with cancer "Healthy Asia" has been conducting. 

Since 2009 to the present "Healthy Asia" Public fund advocates questions of pediatric oncology. During this period in 2009 in Almaty palliative branch was opened, in which children from different regions of the country receive help with cancer, operates a mobile visiting service of the children's hospice at home "I am with you" (annually in Kazakhstan with newly diagnosed cancer patient appeals 700 children, 62 children with cancer in the custody of the Fund).

Public Fund «International Fund Global Success of People» in the course of the project "I am with you" together with children with the Cancer Support Center presented a house with total area of 500 square meters. Currently, thanks to Fund "Healthy Asia" repair and home improvement is completed. It is the only institution in Central Asia (opening on 15th October, 2016), where children with cancer can receive psychological, medical and social rehabilitation services and thereby defeats the disease. Unfortunately, most children with cancer cannot attend school, kindergarten because of their sickness. In this regard, many parents do not work, because forced to care for the child. Therefore, the Centre "I am with you" helps to cope with illness for not only a sick child, but also parents to improve their financial situation and save own family.

For the event 24 art paintings are created. A special feature of these works is that they were created by a duet of children, who won a cancer together with famous Kazakhstani artists. Children-winners pass the baton of the win to other children, who are still struggling with the disease. Among the participants are ten heroes-winners, who took part in the VII World Games winners in Moscow and won 12 medals. This annual sporting event, involving children from all over the world, who beat cancer! They have once again proved to the world that the disease can be defeated!

The aim of this charity event:

• assisting in the opening of the Center for Development and psychological support for children with cancer and their parents (9 hospital for in-patients beds in the children's hospice);

• informing the public about the problems of children's oncology.

The charity auction "I want to live!" brings together people who want to help children and give them joyful moments in their lives. Children suffering from severe illness may not have time to become adults, so help should come in their life timely, today.

Children are waiting for our help, they want to live! We hope for your help and support!

07.09.2016 The First International festival of students "Almaty-Art, Дәстүрлі ұлттық өнерді жаңғырту" and the I International scientific-practical conference "Almaty and its contribution to the development of Kazakhstan and the world”

On 7th September, 2016 at 15:00 Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Art named after O. Tansykbaev carry out the I International festival of students "Almaty-Art, Дәстүрлі ұлттық өнерді жаңғырту" and the I International scientific-practical conference "Almaty and its contribution to the development of Kazakhstan and the world", dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of Almaty.

 

Almaty is established intellectual, scientific, educational and cultural center of the country, where has traditionally formed the basic school of fine arts of Kazakhstan that has a considerable influence on the cu

lture and art of the city. Today in Almaty annual festivals, celebrations of traditional culture and art are held. These events bring together thousands of active and creative people. The festival will be attended by students, teachers and heads of colleges and universities, where will be presented the work of young artists, reflecting the history and the modern look of the Almaty (sightseeings, historical and cultural monuments, symbols of the city, historical subjects, etc.). The festival will give impetus to further development of creativity, art in general, and implementing of new and original ideas of young and talent artists. 

The purpose of the festival-exhibition: to demonstrate the cultural diversity of the developing modern city of Almaty, new forms of creative activity of young artists and creative search trends in contemporary art; popularization of fine arts of Kazakhstan, characteristic to Almaty; support and promotion of young artists presenting their work in a variety of genres - painting, drawing, sculpture, tapestry, jewelry, wood carving, ceramics, painting, embroidery, felting and others.

The festival will open new names and talents to attract young people to cultural and educational projects organized and held at the museum in an atmosphere of creative holiday; acquaint residents and visitors with the works, reflecting the different stages of historical development of Almaty and create conditions for cooperation and exchange of experience of creative youth of Kazakhstan.

At the festival will be held: the conference, master classes on arts and crafts, round tables, considering the major issues in the field of art, culture and education. The festival will be attended by students, teachers and heads of colleges and universities of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

Working hours of the scientific conference 10.00 till 13.00.

The exhibition runs until 20th September 2016.

21-22.05.2016 The exhibition-festival "Silk way"

The Great Silk Road is historically an international trade route of the peoples of East and West. As is known, the Great Silk Road played an important role in the development of economic and cultural ties between peoples. Colorful and noisy oriental bazaar attracted merchants and buyers from around the world in order to offer and to buy silk and porcelain from distant China, spices from India, ceramics from Khwarizm, works of art and many other unusual items. Ancient cultural traditions were successfully continues today.

To plunge into the fantastic atmosphere of oriental bazaar allow the Central Asian Crafts Fair "Silk Road", dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of Almaty. Traditionally the fair will be held on 21-22 May, 2016 at the Central State Museum in Almaty. In this year, in parallel with the exhibition "Silk Road" with the support of the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty will host the contest "Southern capital - through the eyes of young artists" in the following nominations: exhibition, workshops for all types of arts and crafts and fashion shows (fashion show).

In celebration of the 1000th anniversary of Almaty will take part in the competition: O.Tansykbaev Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts, college KazNAA named after m T.Zhurgenov, the Egyptian Cultural Center and the Kazakhstan-Japan Center for Human Development, as well as art colleges and schools of Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan will present the work of young artists, reflecting the theme of Almaty (scenic places, attractions, historical and cultural monuments, symbols of the city, historical subjects, etc.) and demonstrate master classes, fashion shows (fashion show).

The Festival organizers are the main goal is to demonstrate the cultural diversity of the developing modern city, to acquaint residents and visitors with the various stages in the development of the city history represented in the exhibition complex and to demonstrate the creativity and skills of young artists in different genres - painting, drawing, sculpture, tapestry, jewelry, wood carving, ceramics, painting, embroidery, felting.

The exhibition will be attended by more than 80 folk artists from all regions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Russia and Georgia. A wide range of gift and souvenirs will be presented: clothing, jewelry, musical instruments, oriental miniature and oriental carpets, felt and silk, textiles and lamps, amulets and leather goods.

At the end of the contest winners will be awarded certificates, diplomas, prizes and letters of thanks.

18.05.2016 "NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM - 2016"

On 18th May, 2016 from 10.00am till 10.00pm Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan holds an Open Day and the event "Night at the Museum" devoted to the International Day of Museums and 1000th - anniversary of Almaty city. On this day, the Museum offers to visitors a fascinating journey into the world of history and traditional culture. Note that in 2006 in Kazakhstan for the first time the CSM RK initiated an international action "Night at the Museum" and today for its example followed other museums of the city and the country.  

night at the museum -2016The main object of this event is to draw public attention to the museum, as one of the major cultural and educational facilities in our country. The organizers set themselves the task to create a special atmosphere of the festival, with the benchmark "everyone needs to go to the museum".

On this day, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will give visitors the opportunity to explore the unique and rare items from the fund collections of the museum:

• At the exhibition "Fire born art" takes a special place collection of artistic ceramics and porcelain. The beginning of the formation of which was started in the second half of the XIX century (Orenburg period of history CSM RK). The first exhibits were "donated" by individuals and its mainly household items of Russia, Kazakhstan peoples of Central Asia dating from the XVIII-XIX centuries.

• Memorial exhibition «Қазақтың Кәукені» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR Kauken Kenzhetayev (1916-2008) - singer, actor, director, playwright, winner of the international Prize named after Ch. Aitmatov, Laureate of independent award "Tarlan".

• Exhibition of Kazakh traditional dishes and utensils «Сырлы аяқтың сыны кетпес» where are exhibited about 100 items of crockery housed in the museum’s collection. The main objective of this exhibition is comprehensive disclosure of the role and importance of traditional Kazakh cooking utensils.

• Exhibition "Resurrected witnesses of the past" is restored by museum specialists archaeological collections of CSM RK artifacts, laboratory screening methods of conservation and restoration of artifacts (ceramics, metal, stone), as well as the disclosure of diversity and complexity of the work of the restorers of the museum in the return to life of cultural property are presented.

• Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the works of fine art of contemporary artists and sculptors of Kazakhstan as Zh. Kushikbaev, P. Shorohov, M. Amirkhanov, Fatima Tarazi, Zh. Altynbayeva, I. Badambayeva, A. Abdalieva, A. Moldabaev, S. Bektuganov which reflect the history and traditional culture of Kazakhs, monuments and picturesque places of Kazakhstan.

• On the "Night at the Museum" event from the fund collections of the Central State Museum of Republic of Kazakhstan will be on display a series of works of famous artists of Kazakhstan – F.I. Bolkoev, M.T. Yerzhanov, N.V. Solovyov, Zh. Shardenov, T. Abuov, S. Ya. Sukhuv, E. Oralov, M. Sariev whose works was a solid foundation in the formation of the modern Kazakh art. A special attraction will be the pictures devoted to the family, home, native lands, as well as works on the history of Almaty.

At the exhibition "Almaty in my memory" each visitor will be able to learn about the history of our city of 70-80s and get a picture at a photo studio of 70s.

To all who come to this event will be organized:

       - Free museum tours in the halls of the museum, introducing the history and culture of the ancient, medieval and modern Kazakhstan;

       - Interactive educational programs: "The ringing of the coins", "Through the pages of the Red Book", Quiz "We know the history of our city", "In the world of archeology" drawing on the sand and water from the studio "SandPro", "Learning to count quickly" from the International children's mental arithmetic center «UCOMAS KAZAKHSTAN», experiments of the School of Engineering skills «Bolashak Engineering», and the Children's interactive city «Profiland» will speak about the benefits of various professions, master-classes on Arts and choreography of the International Art School, with interactive developing games for children by the "Evrikum" company,

       - Master classes on painting from artists T.Volkova and O.Esenbayev in workshop "You are the artist" (the project "We create together") that will teach everyone to create a picture; origami, calligraphy of "Ichikawa" Japanese house; on the traditional crafts of the O. Tansykbaev College of applied art and "Bakhyt" Center of applied arts will be presented.

On the official opening of the event will be: violin ensemble, "Voice" musical group, "Classic" quartet (headed by D. Karazhanova), soloist of the Defense Ministry Akaltyn Bekbolatova, "Homeland" chorus and others.
