March 5, 2025 at 4 p.m. The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abaya, With the participation of the faculty, students and graduates of the Faculty of Arts, a collective exhibition of unique works of art is being opened.
“THE WAY OF ABAI”,, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great thinker and poet Abai Kunanbayev.
This cultural event will become a vivid illustration of the versatility of Abai’s work and his immeasurable influence on the artistic culture of Kazakhstan, as well as a platform for a creative dialogue between generations, combining tradition and modernity in the interpretation of Abai’s ideas. Each work of art presented is an in-depth reflection on the poet’s legacy, his philosophy and eternal spiritual and moral values.
Special attention will be paid to the theme of national identity, which permeates Abai’s work. The works of young artists and educators reflect their personal understanding of his legacy, demonstrating how the ideas of the great thinker continue to inspire a new generation.
The exhibition will feature more than 80 works of art created by talented students, teachers and graduates of the Faculty of Arts. The exhibition covers a wide range of artistic techniques, including:
Arts (oil-colors, acrylic, watercolor): Abai portraits, illustrations for his poems and poems;
- Engraving (Engraving, линогравюра, офорт): graphic interpretation of the Great poet;
- Decorative-applied art (national ornament, textile, felt, jewelry art): works inspired by the rich cultural heritage that Abai wrote about.
