09.11.2016 The photo exhibition «Тәуелсіздік тағылымы» dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the «ФОТОӨНЕР» Public association, with the support of Akimat of Almaty, JSC« Bank «RBK» and NTRC "Kazakhstan" on 9th November, 2016 at 15.00 opens the photo exhibition «Тәуелсіздік тағылымы» dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

photo-25-летие НезависимостиIn 1991, Kazakhstan gained the status of an independent state recognized by the international community. Today, we can say that Kazakhstan has made an incredible leap in the historical development, has achieved significant results in the economy and politics, international cooperation and civil harmony. The main achievements of independent Kazakhstan connected with the development and adoption of the most important governmental programs and reforms.

The photo exhibition is a kind of chronicle of Kazakhstan, reflecting the main stages of development and establishment of an independent state. The exhibition will acquaint visitors with the fragments of many important achievements of Kazakhstan for 25 years of independence.

The exhibition will take place in two stages: from 9 to 20 November, 2016 in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty - the cradle of Independence (N. Nazarbayev), and in the capital of Kazakhstan - Astana, from 6 to 31 December, 2016 in the Palace of Independence. At the exhibition will be presented more than 100 photographs of 25 leading photojournalists and photographers of Kazakhstan (M.Mambetov - photojournalist and documentalist, Sh.Shakhai - author of several albums about Kazakhstan, S.Mailybaev, E.Omarov, E.Sarbasov, et al.), as well as the works of I.Budnevich - the first personal photographer of the President of Kazakhstan, "King of the Kazakh photo chronicle" A. Ustinenko, presented by the Central State archive of Film and Photo Documents and Sound recordings of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This exhibition will acquaint the public with the true and authentic events of government, social and spiritual life of the country, embodied in the photos of domestic correspondents and journalists during the years of Independence of Kazakhstan.

03.11.2016 Personal exhibition of the artist Yermakhan Begenov "Ұлы дала елі".

On 3 November, 2016 at 16:00 Museum opens personal exhibition «Ұлы дала елі" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the member of the artists’ union of Kazakhstan, landscape painter  Yermakhan Begenov. Unique creativity of E.Begenov is that in his works he considers of himself as the heir of the poetic culture of the people, who implement mythological images in visible, graphic, finding more and more figurative characteristics by favorite motifs. The artist for his paintings chooses a specific Kazakh landscape, oases in the vast Kazakh steppes, majestic snowcapped mountains, frozen surface of the lake. In his landscapes all in the state of greatness and harmony.

During the years of Independence held more than 15 personal exhibitions on which the artist gradually familiarized the public with his works: in the gallery "Ular" (Almaty, 1997), A. Kasteev State Museum (Almaty, 2002; 2008), the Museum of the First President of Kazakhstan (Astana, February 2012), in the historical and cultural, ethnographic center (Turkestan, August 2012), and others.  

The artist's works are in private and municipal property of Kazakhstan, Germany and Switzerland.

The exhibition "Ұлы дала елі" will present more than 80 paintings.

03.07.2015 Exhibition "The President of Kazakhstan" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of N.A.Nazarbayev

On 3rd July, 2015 the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened the exhibition "The President of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of N.A. Nazarbayev.

In the history of independent Kazakhstan and a modern museum practice, a steady trend is the growing number of personal exhibitions devoted to outstanding statesmen. The exhibition "The President of Kazakhstan" dedicated to the 75th anniversary of N.A. Nazarbayev, which reveals the role of Leader of the Nation in the establishment and development of independent Kazakhstan.

Portret of N.A. NazarbaeyevNursultan Nazarbayev, was born on 6th July, 1940 in the Chemolgan village, Kaskelen district, Almaty region. In 1967, he graduated from factory-technical college at the Karaganda Metallurgical Plant. Doctor of Economic Sciences, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the International Academy of Engineering, Academy of Social Sciences of the Russian Federation. Honorary Professor of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. Honorary member of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences, Honorary Professor of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

In 1991, after gaining the sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan priority was the construction of an independent state. 1st December, 1991, the first general elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, in which N.A. Nazarbayev has received the support of 98.7 percent of voters and became the first president of independent Kazakhstan.

On 14th June, 2010 came into force, the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 289-IV "On introducing amendments and addenda to some constitutional laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on improvement of legislation in the sphere of activity of the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation".

N.A. Nazarbayev - Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the Chairman of "Nur Otan" party, the Chairman of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In April, 2015 re-elected for a fifth term as president in the early presidential election with 97.75% of the popular votes. The exhibition is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev, which contains materials about his public and political life. A significant place in the exhibition takes photographs reflecting the activities of the President to strengthen of international relations with foreign countries. On the exhibition photographs, documents, albums, books about the life of N.A. Nazarbayev are displayed. For the first time souvenirs gifted to the Head of State by Heads of foreign states, handed over by the residence of the President of Kazakhstan (Almaty) to the Central State Museum of Kazakhstan are also displayed on exhibition.

05.08.2016 The exhibition "Almaty through the centuries", dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of the Almaty city.

On 5th August, 2016 at 21:00 Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the Akimat of Almaty opens the exhibition "Almaty through the centuries", dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of the Almaty city.

In 2015 by UNESCO International Organization it was decided to include in the anniversaries of 2016 celebrating of the 1000th anniversary of the Almaty city.

almaty-1000-letIn the history of Kazakhstan Almaty and Almaty region (Zhetysu in the broad sense of the word) has a special place. Talking about the age and Almaty, defining it in a thousand years, archaeologists emphasize not so much time human habitation of Almaty region in the Bronze Age and the early Iron Age, as well as the time of the settlement formation, corresponding to the concept of the city, characterized by administrative centers, centers of crafts and trade.

The purpose of the exhibition is to show the history of Almaty from antiquity to the present, as one of the oldest and biggest cities in the country having a historical, cultural and financial value. The exhibition presents items from the Bronze Age - Early Iron Age - Middle Ages - Verny (19thcentury) and the Soviet (20th century) periods, a small part of the exhibition presents the modern Kazakhstan.

The Bronze Age part represented by numerous monuments of the Bronze Age housed in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Artifacts in the Zhetysu region, where historically located Almaty: burial mounds, settlements and petroglyphs are found. The period of the Bronze Age are the earliest artifacts from the treasures as "Kamensky treasure", "Turksib treasure", which date from the XIV-XII centuries BC, and late - X-VIII centuries BC, as well as artifacts from the Terenkara settlement dated IX-VIII centuries BC (located on the northern outskirts of the Almaty), from the Maibulak burial X-VIII centuries BC and accidental finds from the territory of Almaty.    

The Early Iron Age by unique finds of the Early Saka era - Kargaly treasure, gold products of Zhalauly treasure and reconstruction of Besshatyr kurgan and the tomb (VIII century BC), formed on the basis of the materials of CSM RK are represented.

Complex "Archeological monuments of the Middle Ages VI-XIV centuries" is reconstruction made on the basis of the archaeological collections of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan demonstrating the recreated interior of the dwelling on the basis of materials of the medieval settlement Shengeldy; forge shop, made on the basis of the discovered in 1978, remnants of the blacksmith shop, as well as the urban water supply system of the identified residues of irrigation systems, as well as fragments of pottery vessels, millstones, metal objects, etc.

The Verny period of the city (1854-1921) by the construction of the city, planting of greenery, development of production and trade is characterized which presented by documentary photographs from the collections of the CSM RK.

The Soviet period of development of the Alma-Ata covers the period from 1921, when the city was renamed to Alma-Ata to 1990 inclusively.

The modern period of the city starts from the 1991 after the country achieved its independence. In 1997, Alma-Ata was renamed to Almaty. This period in the history by photographs of the modern city of Almaty as a financial, economic and cultural life center which has a modern infrastructure of the city is represented.

In general, the exhibition "Almaty through the centuries", based on the rich collections of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the history and culture of the country from ancient times to the present day represents all historically significant economic, political and ethno-cultural processes with the formation and development of Almaty.

10.03.2016 The personal anniversary exhibition "My life - Kazakhstan" of Tamara Volkova

Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 10th March 2016 at 16.00 opens the personal anniversary exhibition "My life - Kazakhstan" of architect, artist, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan Tamara Volkova, that dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Tamara Volkova was born on 7th March, 1946 in Kyrgyzstan. She grew up and studied in the East - Kazakhstan region. She graduated the Moscow Institute of Architecture. He started working in Yaroslavl, then in Almaty. For many years she engaged in amateur painting, and now - on a professional basis. She has extensive practical and creative experience and wants to share with those who are passionate about the art. The object of her work is nature, people, architecture, city attractions, etc.

Tamara is a multifaceted artist, with rich creative personality and very diverse interests. She is in constant creative search, experimenting with forms and develops new technologies, using new materials, changing the established canons (frames). Thus, the paint began to acquire unusual properties. Sometimes we have to only imagine what it is ceramics, felt or metal? The artist has created a special technique - "terraplast". This technique allows to enrich, to complicate the surface of the painting, to enhance the brightness of images, as well as closer to the reliability of transmission, showing great richness of fabrics, jewelry ( "Girl in saukele"). T.Volkova does not get tired to learn, to improve, to grow, to achieve something new in his work. She works in a variety of styles and techniques: oil on canvas; pastel; tempera, gouache; murals, collages; terraplast; burning wood, macrame, papier-mache, wood crafts.

Each piece of T.Volkova carries a special knowledge and each of them is different grace, perfection of forms, and search for interesting composite solutions, experimental. The images of her paintings are not random and they all share a common theme. Often, the impetuses for the creation of the works are a parable, a literary text, telecast, hiking in the mountains, etc. Sometimes she brings to the canvas colorful images of dreams. One of the favorite topics of artist is archaic rock paintings of Tamgaly, which prompted the artist to write a series of works depicting petroglyphs ("Sacred Stones", "Petroglyphs of Kazakhstan", "Composition with solar deity-1").

Tamara Volkova - participant of international exhibitions: Spain, Italy, Portugal, England, Russia and Brazil. Her works are in galleries and private collections both near and far abroad. As an architect, T.Volkova actively participated in a number of architectural exhibitions in Yaroslavl, exhibitions of the Union of Architects of Kazakhstan, won prizes at zonal parades creativity of young architects of the Russian Federation. Tamara is the winner of the USSR Council of Ministers Prize in the group of architects CNIIEP Grado, Moscow. She is the author of major projects - a historical and architectural support plan of Almaty and Ust-Kamennogorsk. According to her projects were built an office building in the city of Yaroslavl, hotel with restaurant in Pereslavl Zalessky, reconstruction of residential housing of «Ок-Жетпес» sanatorium and many others.

Some of the works of one and a half thousand collection created for the entire period of its many years of creative activity (more than 60 paintings) will be presented.
