06.10.2023 THE EXHIBITION “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: ARTIST OR MACHINE?”

From October 2 to November 30, 2023, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Plan B Gallery and FARBA Gallery (Minsk, Belarus) are opening a new exhibition project “Artificial Intelligence: Artist or Machine?” – one of the most innovative art exhibitions that will appear in Almaty in 2023. The exhibition is notable for the fact that the works presented are entirely “Artificial Intelligence: Artist or Machine?” created by artificial intelligence. The public will be shown a groundbreaking collection of more than 120 works in 10 different categories, covering many aspects of our universe, such as nature, mythology, history, architecture and many others.

What is artificial intelligence? It is computer technology that helps machines think and act like humans. The scope of application of artificial intelligence is almost limitless: the technology sector, medicine, science and much more. To understand the role of artificial intelligence in the creation of this exhibition project, it is worth noting that the text of the press release you are reading right now is 78.1% created by artificial intelligence.

It is noteworthy that part of the exhibition represents the perception of Kazakhstan through the eyes of artificial intelligence. Guests of the project will be able to see an alternative vision of nature, architecture, and cuisine of our country, created with the help of neural networks. Beautifully crafted and meticulously detailed, the unique collection features works that will captivate the attention of art lovers and technology enthusiasts alike!

The organizers of the exhibition strive to demonstrate current projects to the viewer and are pleased to be the first to present an exhibition created by artificial intelligence in Kazakhstan. We invite you to explore this creative and exciting way of creating entire pieces. Come and discover the probable future of art!

And the culmination of the project will be the immersive film “Digital Evolution”, created specifically for this exhibition project. This film is a figurative rethinking of the world of ideas and the world of matter, a free artistic reflection on development and evolution. Visitors will be able to fully immerse themselves in what is happening around them, thanks to the projection of the film on the walls and floor of the multimedia room. The exhibition also presents works by Kazakh authors, whose work will complement the main exhibition.

The organizers have also prepared a thematic quest that will allow you to get acquainted with the exhibition in a fun way, and in the exhibition space you will find original photo zones where it is simply impossible not to take a photo as a keepsake.
