6-7.03.2016 The traditional Central Asian exhibition-fair of craft "Time of tulips"
The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with Center of Decorative applied arts "Bakhyt" on 6th -7th March, 2016 held traditional Central Asian exhibition-fair of craft "Time of tulips" devoted to the International Woman’s day.
At the exhibition more than 100 artisans from different regions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Russia, Georgia and Mongolia will take part. There are clothes, felt and silk products, carpets, jewelry, ceramics, musical instruments, oriental miniature etc. many other unusual things are presented.
The organizers of the exhibition carry out master-classes on felt, batik (cloth painting technique). For conducting of master-classes well-known Kazakh artisans of decorative-applied art Kulayn Zhangutty and Gulnara Umirbek were invited.
