02.05.2023 EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHS DEDICATED TO THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ACTIVITIES AND OPENING OF THE UN MISSION IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

The State Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host an exhibition of outstanding photographs of the UN, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the United Nations activities around the world and the opening of its representative office in the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 2-11, 2023.

The exhibition will feature photographs revealing the implementation and activities of UN programs over decades. These are the UN food programs to eliminate hunger and poverty in the world; UN campaigns to strengthen and protect the rights of women, children, refugees; UN peacekeeping operations; programs to ensure health and well-being, etc.

The photos show the life of people in different countries, etc., such as the vaccination of Children Against Tuberculosis in the Republic of the Congo and the session of the UN General Assembly in New York in 1947;

The UN Information Bureau in the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out information activities of a diverse nature to popularize the work of the organization, as well as support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.

20.04.2023 International Exhibition of author's dolls and teddy bears

On April 20, 2023, at 15:00, The State Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the creative union of puppet masters of Kazakhstan "Asia Doll", will open an international exhibition of author's dolls and teddy bears.

The International Exhibition of author's dolls and teddy bears will be attended by more than 45 craftsmen from Kazakhstan (Almaty, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kokshetau, Taraz, Temirtau, Astana, Semey, Altai), Belorussia (Brest), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), Russia (Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Kaliningrad, Barnaul) working in various techniques.

The exhibition reflects modern trends and features of the art of making dolls, as well as introduces the collections and works of hand-made puppeteers from Kazakhstan and the CIS countries.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a long-term project "Golden age of the Silk Road" will be presented, in which such author's works as fairy-tale characters, ethnic costumes, collective images of animals and people from countries crossing the Silk Road on the theme "Silk Road" will occupy a special place. The project "Barefoot childhood" for children will also be presented. Dolls and toys play a huge role in human life from childhood, they teach us to be kind, love and responsibility.

The huge work of the masters makes it possible to create unique works that will gain status in world private collections and galleries.

Famous Almaty artists, puppeteers, fashion designers and businessmen will take part in the exhibition.

The exhibition of author's dolls and teddy bears" Asia Doll" will feature more than 100 author's works by Doll Masters made in different techniques.

21.04.2023 The exhibition "A knowledgeable teacher has smart students"

On April 21, 2023, the official opening of the exhibition "A knowledgeable teacher has smart students" was held at the State Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan based on the contribution of A. Kh. Margulan and Zh. Kurmankulov to the Archaeological Science of Kazakhstan. Professor A. B. Kalysh acted as the head of the opening ceremony and noted the importance of the work of famous figures in the Archaeological Science of Kazakhstan A. Kh. Margulan and his student Zh.Kurmankulov. Director of the museum Kharipova R.Ye. and guests of the exhibition Head of the Department "Archeology of the Early Iron Age" of A. Kh. Margulan Institute of Archeology, Candidate of History Science, Phd Utubayev Zh. R., chief researcher, Candidate of History Science, Ph. D. Manapova A.M., Phd, leading scientist, Candidate of History Science Akymbek E. Sh. promoted study and preservation of the historical heritage.

The exhibition includes personal belongings, photographs and works of scientists, works of the central Kazakhstan archaeological expedition from 1946 to 1997, 2005-2022. Materials, obtained from the excavations of the Chirik-Rabat archaeological expedition, presented the burials of Besoba, Syntas, Tekoba, Nagornoye and monuments of construction and architecture of the Middle Ages (izraztsy), which prove that the tribes of the early Iron Age who inhabited the Aktobe Valley were representatives of ancient civilizations.

11.04.2023 Literary and musical evening "Amangeldi, the great hero of the nation"

Literary and musical evening "Amangeldi, the great hero of the nation", devoted to the 150^th birth anniversary of Amangeldi Imanov, the leader of the National Liberation Uprising of 1916 in Torgai district, a fighter for equality, will be held at the State Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on April 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m.

The name of Amangeldy Imanov " A son and hero of the nation - Amangeldy" is inextricably linked with one glorious period in the history of the Kazakh people - the National Liberation uprising of 1916. At this time, Amangeldy's organizational and command talent was clearly visible. 50 thousand soldiers under his command showed an excellent example of courage and perseverance.

At the literary and musical evening, you can visit the exhibition organized by the Department of "Study of the history of Kazakhstan" of the Central Museum. The exhibition will feature photo materials that testify to the historical role of the leaders of the Turgai uprising and its participants. A special place is occupied by the personal belongings of the leader of the uprising A. Imanov (firearms and cold weapons, blacksmithing tools). The exposition will feature photos of A. Imanov's sons, photo materials from the film "Amangeldy" and episodes from the performances of the Kazakh academic theater. Also, the people's artist A. Kasteyev and B. Urmanche’s paintings are exhibited.
