The birthday of the state television broadcasting is commonly believed to be on March 8, 1958, when the first trial broadcast of the Alma-Ata television studio went on the air. This was earth-shattering news in the history of the country. Since September 2011, the national channel has started broadcasting entirely in Kazakh.

For the first time, digital terrestrial television, providing the broadcast of TV channels in the digital format DVB-T2 MPEG-4, was launched on July 3, 2012. In his portrait caricatures, he combines the real and the fantastic, exaggerating and sharpening the features of the figure, face, costume, demeanor, achieves maximum expressiveness of the image and its recognition. Two or three strokes, an instant stroke of the hand – and before you the character of a person, his original nature and destiny. Funny, witty and sniper accurate. Caricature requires a confident hand of the draftsman, life experience, personal open communication skills and a certain civic courage," the art critic G.Povalyashko. The exhibition "Caricature of Tarlan" demonstrates the worldview of the cartoonist and introduces visitors to a series of cartoons of public people, images of various heroes of modernity, state and socio-political figures, famous figures of science, culture and art - I. Tasmagambetov, M. Shakhanov, R.Rymbaeva, M.Beissembinov, B.Ayukhanov, K.Bekkhozhin, K.
