12.01.2024 The Central State Museum hosted a presentation of two monographic works

The first is “Money on the Silk Road” (territory of Kazakhstan, the 13th -14th cc.), the author of which was scientists Pavel Nikolayevich Petrov, Nurlan Adilbekuly Atygayev and Zhassulan Mazulauly Beltenov, working in the center of museum source studies and manuscripts. This collective monograph is devoted to the study of the activities of the Silk Road routes based on the creation and circulation of coins in settlements of the 13th-14th centuries located on caravan routes that ran through the territory of modern Kazakhstan. The book consists of three chapters.

The second monograph is called “The Kazakh Khanate: essays on the foreign policy history of the 15th-17th centuries.” Its author was the above-mentioned professor Nurlan Adilbekuly Atygayev. This work is devoted to the foreign policy history of Kazakhstan in the 15th -17th centuries.

Director of the Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kharipova Rashida Yerimkyzy, who made the first congratulatory speech at the ceremony, noted that the above monographs are the result of three years of work. She also thanked one of the main authors of the monograph, the famous numismatist Pavel Petrov, who took part in the event via the zoom platform. His colleagues Zhassulan Beltenov and Nurlan Atygayev also told the story of writing a joint monograph.

The event was attended by prominent scientists and public figures, including: Director of the Eurasian Research Institute of H.A. Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, Suat Beilur, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Nursan Alimbay, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bereket Karibayev, Director of the Institute of Humanities ABDI research Kanat Uskenbay, head of the Department of Culture of the city of Almaty Gani Mailybayev and others.

At the end of the events, monographs were distributed to representatives of the intelligentsia and scientific institutions.

GREAT CENTRAL ASIAN EXHIBITION-FIAR OF CRAFTS “EASTERN CARAVAN”

The Center of Decorative and Applied Arts “Bakhyt” in cooperation with the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan holds the Central Asian Exhibition-Fair of artisans. As you know, the Eastern Caravan played a big role in the development of economic and cultural ties of the peoples of the East. Merchants and buyers from all over the world hurried to the noisy, colorful, and multi-voiced eastern bazaar to offer and profitably purchase silk and porcelain from distant China, spices from India, ceramics from Khorezm, works of fine art and many other outlandish goods. Ancient cultural traditions continue successfully today.

Colorful and rich, cheerful, and noisy fair “Eastern Caravan” gives visitors a good mood and the opportunity to choose gifts and souvenirs for every taste: clothes, panels, tapestry, felt and leather goods, knitted things, jewelry and costume jewelry, silk scarves, as well as dishes and carpets, soft toys, interior items.

6.12.2023 THE GREAT STEPPE TALENT WHO IMPRESSED THE WORLD WITH HIS SONG

EXHIBITION "THE GREAT STEPPE TALENT WHO IMPRESSED THE WORLD WITH HIS SONG" HAS BEEN OPENED ON THE 135TH ANNIVERSARY OF AMIRE KASHAUBAYEV

Amir's voice, which is called high tenor in musical language, is a rare gift of nature to the Kazakh people. The perfect beauty of Amir's voice is a unique phenomenon that can only be repeated in centuries.

The fund of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan has a personal archive of a man of extraordinary genius. One of the most valuable relics that took place in the exhibition is a gramophone that recorded the voice of Amire Kashaubayev in the 20s of the 20th century. Also, the singer's dombra, portrait, a mirror bought in Paris, works and original documents of scientists who studied his life and work were presented to the public.

The event was attended by a member of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a public figure, A. Kashaubayev's relative Khassen Kerimzhanuly and poet, journalist, the author of the poem " Great Tenor" dedicated to Kashaubayev A. Shagyr Semeygazyuly, and media representatives took part.

The exhibition will be held from December 6 to December 19, 2023.
