23.10.2019 The International Photo Exhibition “Celebrating the 70th establishment anniversary of the People’s Republic of China”.

On October 23, 2019 at 16.00 the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China opens the International Photo Exhibition “Celebrating the 70th establishment anniversary of the People’s Republic of China”.

The International Photo Exhibition “Celebrating the 70th establishment anniversary of the People’s Republic of China”.The People's Republic of China, adhering to the concept of peace and cooperation, is developing comprehensive strategic relations with the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Consulate General of the PRC has implemented many joint projects and events dedicated to various aspects of the history, culture and art of China, programs that serve to strengthen cultural ties and friendship between our countries.

It is difficult to imagine today's world without photographs, which are a source of reflection of historical events and the life of modern society. At the exhibition a photographic tape of three chronological periods, demonstrating the historical development and socio-economic situation of the People's Republic of China over the past 70 years: the Chinese people stood on their feet (1949-1978); a favorable period of reform and openness (1978-2012); movement forward into a new era of development are presented.

The photo exhibition, consisting of 150 vivid shots reflects expressive and holistic ideas about the construction and development of the PRC from 1949 to 2019, difficulties and achievements in various fields – politics, economics, society, culture, ecology, city building and improving conditions people's lives, communications and technologies, science, education, medicine, sports, art, etc.

The Consul General of the PRC in Almaty, Ms. Gen Lipin, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty, the diplomatic corps, cultural and educational institutions, etc., will take part in the grand opening ceremony of the exhibition.

14.10.2019 The photo exhibition “Fighting and Suffering. Polish citizens during the Second World War”

On October 14, 2019 at 15.00 in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Almaty, the opening of the photo exhibition “Fighting and Suffering. Polish citizens during the Second World War”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Second World War was carried out.

afisha-polsha2019In this largest military conflict in the history of mankind, in which nuclear weapons were used for the first time, which lasted for almost six years, 80% of the world's population were involved - 62 of the 73 states that existed at that time. The fighting was conducted in Europe, Asia and Africa. The total number of deaths and torture in concentration camps exceeds 60 million.

The Second World War began on September 1, 1939 with the German attack on Poland. For almost six years, the Poles fought for freedom and independence, fighting against the regimes of the invaders. The result of the incredibly harsh regime and terror in the occupied territories in Poland was the destruction of not only cities, industry, agriculture and culture, but also irreparable human casualties – six million Poles.

Photo exhibition “Fighting and suffering. Polish citizens during the Second World War” is a holistic story about the events of the Second World War in Poland, which particularly emphasized the horror and tragedy of this period. The structure of the exhibition is in a thematic-chronological sequence. This exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the World War II is not only an occasion to recall its consequences, but also the need to tell about the tragedy that has been connecting many generations of our Earth for decades.

Photo exhibition is an international campaign on a global scale implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland and the Museum of the Second World War in Gdansk, which will be presented in 62 countries of the world.

04.10.2019 The traditional autumn Central Asian crafts exhibition "ArtBazar - GOLDEN APPLE".

On October 4-6, 2019, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Bakhyt Center for Decorative and Applied Arts, holds the traditional autumn Central Asian crafts exhibition "ArtBazar - GOLDEN APPLE".

Autumn gives inexhaustible creative inspiration to artists, sculptures, artisans. The exhibition presents the multifaceted work of artists of arts and crafts. An apple is not only a symbol of Almaty, but also a favorite topic of creativity of most artists of Kazakhstan. One character, an inexhaustible fantasy on the topic of familiar things, but conveyed by each master in his own way. Apples that became the main theme of this exhibition: still lifes and landscapes, portraits and genre scenes, made in different types of technique – watercolor, oil, graphics. Masters transferred this symbol to their products: jewelry, panels, tapestries, products from felt, leather, batik.
Masters from Kazakhstan and Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Russia) took part. The assortment of the exhibition is diverse. Designer jewelry, clothes, stylish bags and cosmetic bags, jewelry, designer toys, rugs, ceramics, handmade soap and cosmetics, interior items, souvenirs, silk, felt, leather products, musical instruments, oriental miniature, ceramics, textiles, knitwear, etc. were presented.

Within the framework of the exhibition-fair, based on the article of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “The Seven Faces of the Great Steppe”, a republican contest “A Modern Look at Traditional National Art” hold, announced in the Year of Youth among school students, students of art colleges and universities.

11.10.2019 The exhibition "Jubilee Palette" of artwork by the faculty of the Institute KazNPU

On October 11, 2019 at 10.00 the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, in the framework of the International Art Forum "The Faces of the Great Steppe: Creative Practices and Art Education at the Present Stage", open the exhibition "Jubilee Palette" of artwork by the faculty of the Institute, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports of the KazNPU named after Abai.

The history of the department began in 1963. His first graduates contributed to the opening of a number of departments in the field of art education throughout the republic. Therefore, it is quite appropriate to call this Art department as a capacious and symbolic Kazakh term “Kara shanyraq” - “father's house” or “the most revered house of the family”.

The department is rightfully proud of his graduates; this is a galaxy of famous cultural and art figures, famous graphic artists and painters, sculptors and educators: Erbolat Tolepbay, Muratbek Nurlybaev, Vladimir Vlasyuk, Shokan Tolesh, Arken Zulfikar, Vyacheslav Lyuiko, Batima Zaurbekova, Nelli Bube, Tokkozha Kozhagulov, Alexey Begov and this is only part of the names.

Today, the Institute employs professors, doctors and candidates of sciences, associate professors, honored workers, honored cultural workers, honored trainers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, masters of sports, members of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Union of Designers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other creative associations, which together with their students take an active participation in exhibitions, concerts, festivals, contests in Kazakhstan and the countries of near and far abroad.

On October 2, 2019 at 15.00 Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan opens a personal exhibition of the artist Gulfarida Dzhaniyarova “My love: dolls, flowers and fairy tales...”

The exhibition of an artist Gulfarida Dzhaniyarova "My love: dolls, flowers and fairy tales ..."The exhibition will introduce the multifaceted work of the painter, illustrator, designer, doll master and costume designer, working in different genres of art. The author creates completely different unique images of dolls, as well as picturesque paintings, characterized by an abundance of flowers and paints, including still life, landscapes, portraits, flower arrangements, etc. using different techniques and materials,. Each doll is a work of art, a separate project, style, story and fairy tale.

An important role in the selection of creative landmarks was played by work and cooperation with theaters. The artist reliably completed the sketches of the Khan’s costume, matching the ancient costumes of the Kazakh nomad nobility at M. Auezov Kazakh State Academic Drama Theater for the play “The Last Days of Abylay Khan”.

An important place in the work of G. Dzhaniyarova is occupied by a series of paintings made with vivid artistic expressiveness, demonstrating the diversity of amazing nature - paintings “Lilac”, “Mary’s root and frying”, “Peonies”, “Irises”, “Pansies”, “Landscape with callas” “Blue evening”, “Winter landscape”.

The artistic basis of the exhibition is a collection of author's dolls, currently numbering more than 200 items.

These are large interior dolls in Kazakh national costumes – characters of Kazakh folk tales, heroes of myths, beauties in luxurious outfits of different nations of the world (“Mongolian Beauty”, “Berkutchi”, “Spanish Doll”, “Geisha”), fantasy doll (“ Chess Queen ”,“ Cherry ”), as well as dolls-portraits of historical figures – “Confucius”, “Makhmud Kashgari”. G.Dzhaniyarova creates her dolls in a single copy, performing the whole process by hands, from preparing sketches and modeling to tailoring a suit using various materials for decoration – precious fabrics, natural fur, rhinestones, gold threads, gems, etc.

G. Dzhaniyarova was the first to become a member of the International Association of Puppet Authors among Kazakhstani artists (the author’s project “Dolls of Kazakhstan”). She also took an active part in international doll exhibitions (Russian Federation, Moscow).

The main goal of the exhibition is not only to demonstrate the achievements and results of many years of work of the author, but also to maintain family traditions and values through the skill of creating dolls, promoting puppet art, which remains popular in modern society.

The heroine of puppetry will present at the exhibition more than 100 works of art.
